Bahamas Site
After being at the other hot dry sites, this one did seem like the Bahamas. When we got too hot all we had to do was jump in and cool off. And, we couldn't have asked for more picturesque scenery.

This site was discovered in 1998 but hadn't been worked on until this year. Using the angle of the slope on the right of the picture you can get an idea of how much matrix has been extracted. The pile of rubble in the middle left side of the picture and behind the workers is the overburden (rock chipped away while extracting the fossils).
